Life isn’t fair, but God is good.  “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth” (Psalm 119:89-90).  Many times can’t rationalize what is happening to us.  We can’t control the cancer in our body, but let go and let God be in control.  He who created the earth and continues to provide for it, created you and will continue to provide for you.  Trust Him, keep calm, and carry on.

Trust and obey. Do what you can.  Sometimes it’s tough getting out of bed, but get up with the strength of the Lord.  Sometimes we feel no answer when we cry out to God, but keep trusting that He will answer you in His time.  Sometimes God has other plans.  When life hands you something you don’t deserve, surrender to God and trust in Him.  We need to understand God is working all things together for good. Romans 8:28 reminds us “that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

When you don’t understand what God is doing, walk by faith.  Trust Him to be faithful.  God knows what is best.  “’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ saith the Lord.  ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts’” (Isaiah 55: 8-9).
